Information notice on the processing of personal data


The limited liability company LGTech, with its head office at Mont Saint-Martin 73 in 4000 Liège, Belgium, and registered with the Banque Carrefour des Entreprises under number 0680.423.623 (hereinafter “LGTech”), offers a software solution timekeeping management system compatible with the “Check In and Out at Work” system, the online service for recording attendance at work of the Belgian National Social Security Office (hereinafter “ONSS”).

The CheckTime mobile application allows salaried workers, self-employed workers, temporary workers and interns to record their own presence at the place of work, in real time.

This recording involves the processing of personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter the “GDPR”).

LGTech acts as a personal data processor of the data controller who is the entity that sends the application user to work.

Through this information notice, LGTech informs you about the processing of personal data carried out by the data controller using CheckTime mobile.

Check In and Out at Work

Identity and contact details of the data controller


The data controller is the entity that sends the user of the application to work.

Its exact identity and contact details are shown on the CheckTime mobile home tab once the user has logged in.

Purpose of processing

To record the start (in) and end (out) of shifts, as well as rest intervals, of a worker performing certain cleaning activities.

  • Password
  • Geolocation
  • Start date and time (in)
  • End date and time (out)

Legal basis for processing

The processing of personal data carried out by the controller as part of the management of Check In and Out at Work is based on a legal obligation (Article 6, paragraph 1, point c) of the RGPD.

The legal basis for recording attendance in the cleaning sector is found in the program law of 26/12/2022, title 4, chapter 1, art. 22 to 48; and chapter 2, art 49. (§9 art. 30 bis of the law of 27/06/69).

How were the processed data obtained?

Directly from the person concerned.

Recipients of processed data

Processed data are transmitted to the ONSS.

The data is also accessible to LGTech, which provides the data collection service via its CheckTime mobile application and acts as a subcontractor.

Retention period

Data is kept strictly for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of processing. This period is linked to the duration of the legal obligation to retain data.

What are your rights and how can you exercise them?

If you have a complaint, question or problem concerning the way in which the data controller uses your personal data, please contact the data controller.

If you contact the data controller to exercise your rights, you will receive a reply within one month. Exceptionally, this period may be extended (up to a maximum of three months), but the data controller will inform you of the reason within one month. The possibility of exercising your rights depends on the processing and the applicable legal basis.

Always be sure to specify clearly which right you wish to exercise and how you wish to receive information (e.g. by e-mail, by post, verbally, etc.). Please note that in some cases, additional information may be required to ensure that the data controller assists the data subject.

 Right of access

You have the right to ask the data controller about your personal data. They can provide you with a copy free of charge, but this is not possible for all documents. The data controller must also respect the rights and freedoms of others.

Right of rectification

Do you think your data is inaccurate or out of date? You have the right to ask the NSSO to correct it.

Right to object

You have the right to ask the data controller to stop processing your personal data.

Right to limit processing

You can ask the data controller to limit the processing of your personal data, for example when the data controller is verifying the accuracy of your personal data.

Right to be forgotten or deleted

You have the right to ask the data controller to delete your personal data. However, if the controller is legally obliged to retain certain personal data, it will not be able to comply with this request.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For your information, the Luxembourg supervisory authority is the Commission Nationale de Protection de Données, and its contact details are as follows:
